This home addition and renovation took place in early 2007. A 3-car garage with second floor artist’s studio complements the existing brick structure, expanding its overall street presence. Matching brick was located in Georgia and delivered to the project site for a cohesive look. The former 2-car garage was transformed into a sun room by removing 16 feet of additional wall and installing 30 linear feet of French doors on two sides, a tiered blue stone patio and two pergolas. The second floor master bedroom and master bathroom were created by combining two of the original bedrooms, moving the dressing room up to the third floor, creating a loft and transforming the former master bath and walk in closet into a spa-like experience for bathing and showering. In addition to rebuilding the 50 foot deck at the back of the house, the entire basement was transformed into an entertainment and billiards room. The landscaping was designed to incorporate indigenous plants and a shade garden.
